Embracing Differences

As every child and adolescent is different, each case is individualized. Reach out to me, Penny Kagan, for help today. After our initial consult conversation, I will:

• Perform an initial intake to discuss areas of struggle as well as areas of strength
• Determine what’s getting in the way of success
• Collaboratively Establish a goal of what needs to be different or improved
• Establish a roadmap and a plan to help your child be successful
• Determine what type of advocacy may be needed with the school so everyone is speaking the same language
• Collaborate with teachers and school as much as necessary to communicate your child’s learning needs

Depending on the child and his/her needs, we’ll determine how often we meet. With some students I meet every other week, some five times a week – it just depends on each child's situation. I use the most modern, research-based, proven methods that are available.

I work with each student privately and have had the most success with multi-sensory learning.
